In today’s data driven business climate, there is almost no&#13;
company that does not have stressed workers. The global economy&#13;
is considerably shifting and exponentially accelerating the need&#13;
for organizations to address challenges imposed by technological,&#13;
demographic and marketplace changes that are further affected&#13;
by globalization. These shifts also require organizations to&#13;
maximize productivity with minimum workplace leading to&#13;
reevaluation of costs associated with talent. Therefore, employees&#13;
are expected to professionally function with responsibility, new&#13;
initiatives, effective time management and commitment, and&#13;
these expectations will result in employees being physically and&#13;
mentally strained at their workplaces. Employee may become&#13;
overwhelmed outside the workplace. Employees are one of the&#13;
most valuable assets of any organization. The active role they play&#13;
towards a company's success cannot be underestimated.&#13;
Therefore, counseling intervention must play on employee&#13;
engagement in ABC Apparel Manufacturing Pvt Ltd. Two&#13;
independent factors have been considered in this research. They&#13;
are group counseling and individual counseling; therefore, the sole&#13;
dependent variable is employee engagement. 150 employees were&#13;
selected as the sample for this study. The analysis of findings&#13;
revealed that there is a better relationship between group&#13;
counseling, individual counseling and employee engagement.&#13;
Counseling intervention is the most critical party in this situation&#13;
to increase employee morale and, it is found that counseling&#13;
intervention plays a role in enhancing employee engagement in a&#13;
company.

Sri Lankan prehistoric investigations can be divided into several&#13;
phases. Identifying the nature of prehistoric archaeological&#13;
investigation and research in Sri Lanka between 1992 – 2018 is&#13;
the research problem of this paper. The main objective of the&#13;
research is to collect data and information of Prehistoric&#13;
Archaeological Investigation and Research (Exploration and&#13;
Excavation) in Sri Lanka between 1992 – 2018 and arrange them&#13;
in chronological order. In this process data and information were&#13;
collected using primary and secondary sources through library&#13;
survey, Field study, web survey and interviews were conducted to&#13;
obtain more quantitative data The key research findings of the&#13;
research are based on the identified several extraordinary&#13;
features of this period compared to the early research periods such&#13;
as systematic excavations, chronological methods, multidisciplinary approach, researches in associated with new scientific&#13;
methodologies and innovative scientific methodologies including&#13;
genealogical experiments.

Human Language is one of the most prominent achievements of man in the course of evolution. These languages are intrinsic, multifaceted as well as extremely capricious. Yet, it is also crucial to identify that comprehension of the language of a certain community is the right way, if not the only way towards understanding the culture of the respective community. Culture encompasses a gamut of attributes varying from the assortment of dishes catering to our rich palate to styles of communication and translation which is the process of reproducing the receptor language the nearest natural equivalent of the source language, aids in transcending the language barriers existing amidst communities and universalising cultures. This study examines the role played by culture in the process of translation with special reference to Martin Wickramasinghe’s Madol Doova and its’ English Translation by Ashley Halpe. By means of secondary sources and a highly qualitative approach, which predominantly comprised content analysis of the afore mentioned literature, the study explores the cultural concepts inherent to Sri Lanka and the methods employed by the translator to transfer the notions behind them without any distortion to the source text as well as their purpose, efficacy and success. The findings suggest that there is an undeniable, rather an influential role portrayed by culture in creative fiction, and that it could be successfully transcended upon the depth of understanding the translator has on both source and target cultures, the techniques he or she employs as well as the creative use of language.

The Economic Community of West African States launched the name of its proposed currency, eco, in June, 2019 for its proposed monetary union. The Regional body stipulated certain convergence criteria to be met before member countries could be admitted to the proposed union. One such criteria is that the budget deficit-to-Gross domestic product ratio be less than or equal to three percent. Available data for the past two decades indicate the non-compliance of many of these West African countries to this condition despite having control over both fiscal and monetary policies. This study investigates the sustainability of fiscal deficits in a group of six countries known as the West African Monetary Zone. This study has two objectives: First, to investigate the sustainability of deficits in the West African Monetary Zone and secondly, to examine the absence or presence of fiscal policy persistence. Fiscal deficits are sustainable when an increase in public debt is associated with a corresponding increase in the primary surplus. Using panel data, a fiscal reaction model was estimated. The findings of this study showed that deficits are weakly sustainable and fiscal policy is highly persistent. The implication of weak sustainability is that they are easily vulnerable to external shocks and the possibility of becoming unsustainable is very high. Meanwhile, a highly persistent fiscal policy leaves little or no room for fiscal policy discretion and this is a high risk because it means government won’t respond swiftly as at when due. Based on these findings, the study recommends a suspension of the proposed single currency union.
