| dc.description.abstract | Sri Lanka has monopolistic regulatory electricity sector, which has no competition within the electricity business. Hence the introduction of power sector reforms (PSR) to the electricity sector became important as it allows competition, regulation of the sector and improves the efficiency of the sector. With the enactment of the Sri Lanka Electricity Act, reforms were introduced in 2009. However, it has not been clearly identified or recognized whether we can improve the social aspect of electricity generation in order to improve the corporate sustainability (SACS) through the so introduced sector reforms.
